2nd Week Progress
VOID has existed only 11 days. But, the pace around here is dizzying. We now have 6 great staff members:
Stephanie Crist
David Weller
Dennis Sherrard
Daniel Summars
Steve Smith
David R. Remer
VOID has an easy and simple URL to be used from now on. VOIDnow.org is our new URL name and is now available for use. Please save or bookmark http://voidnow.org for future reference.
Daniel has been busy building VOID logos and has produced some excellent choices we will adopt shortly. All of us have been busy laying down our groundrules, and generating strategy ideas. We have recieved over $500 in
donatons so far, and have not yet begun to advertise our site or mission. We are finishing up a STAFF only website to work in. Beginning sometime next week, projects will be defined, staff assigned to them, and preparations made for launching Vote Out Incumbents Democracy to the public at large.
We are still looking for staff with political campaign or comparable experience, and fundraising experience. Of course, we very much need more donations. If you can help with either, please click on links near top of the page above left and right, Help Wanted or Donations. We will have much more to announce in Week 3 as we begin to launch our public presence.

Congrats to ALL the staff members. It nice to see political oppinions put aside for this great cause.

Yes, Ron. I agree. And, our differences shouldn't be as important as the handful of (e.g. say top 10 most important, non-contentious, no-brainer) problems facing the nation)

Ron, would you care to join our staff? We have a staff 6 at the moment, and need a staff of 16 for the next phase. No problem if time or other factors prevent. We are very pleased that you have taken an interest in the VOID mission. We will have an email newsletter available next week with weekly updates for folks to sign up for if you are interested.

David,
While I'd like to be on your staff, given that I'm not really all that good with a computer I don't really know how much good I'd do.
I think that at the moment I can do more good just talking to people about VOID and trying to get them to vote anti-imcumbent.
Thank for the invatation though.

Ron, thanks. That is the backbone of our effort, talking to people about VOID and voting challengers, not incumbents. We appreciate it very much.

Ron, Yes, Thanks!
BTW. You seem to do just fine. I like reading what you write. You don't need a lot of computer savvy to write well. You learned to reject and not be seduced into the petty partisanship long before I did. And, you appreciate the effort and can help spread it. As David said, that is the backbone of the effort.

There's one thing I need to learn. Maybe one of yall can help.
I've given this web address to a few people on watchblog.
The problem is that I don't know how to link it. If someone could tell me in Internet for Dummies language I sure would appreciate it.

Ron, http://voidnow.org
That simple.
If using hyperlinked text, put VOID, or Vote Out Incumbents Democracy, as the linked text.

For example:

Play around with these.
Images may not work everwhere, but links to files and images (as above) will work.
