Many Congressional Republicans are trying to override their moderate Republican brethren, to pass tax cuts totalling $70 billion in the Budget Reconciliation bill. So far, they have worked out cost cuts in the same bill totalling $50 billion. If my second grade math is correct, our federal budget would net a loss of $20 billion! Surely, next year's incumbents realize that we have a national debt already of over $8 trillion! They are clearly sending the message to their constituents that our federal short-term and long-term fiscal condition in these United States is perfectly fine.
No, we are not perfectly fine. Right now, as we speak, every man, woman and child in this country would have to pay approximately $27,000 each, in order to pay down the national debt; and that doesn't take into account the federal projected deficits of the next few years. We, the people, the owners of this great country, must send our representatives in Washington a message loud and clear-- we are going to vote into office challengers to our current corrupt politicians, in order that we may enjoy responsibility and accountability by our representatives. Please join our grassroots movement called Vote Out Incumbents for Democracy, by making becoming a member and volunteering time today!

I get the feeling that the Republicans are afriad of loosing seats unless they make it look like that they're trying to do something for the taxpayers.
Personnaly I belive that BOTH parties are in trouble and tax cuts and spending cuts, or the lack of them, aren't going to help either side any.
I was at the doctors office today. He told me he hasn't voted sense 1980. The reason he said was that it doesn't matter. The politicians are going to do what they want to anyway.
I asked him if he liked the way the country was going and he said no. I told im that the politicians relied on people like him not voting. That was one of the reasons that they get away with the things they do.
He said he'd check out the VOID web site. I hope he does and then votes.

The National Debt has grown every year for 45 consecutive years, and almost every year for the last 60 years.
I'm doubtful the nation can withstand even one more decade of fiscal irresponsibility.
