Formalizing the VOID Organization
The staff and volunteers of VOID are conducting nominations for our Board of Directors elections to be concluded at the end of the coming week. This is the first step toward VOID seeking official incorporated non-profit and tax exempt status. Once the Board of Directors is seated, the next step will be the drafting of Articles of Incorporation and other documents needed to petition for non-profit incorporation. We thank all of you supporters and visitors who have encouraged and helped us reach
this point.
There will be costs associated with incorporation, and we humbly ask our visitors and supporters to please make whatever modest donation you can at this time to help us budget our incorporation costs and plan any remaining fund raising events which will be necessary. Again, thank you all for your support and encouragement. We are anxious to carry the VOID mission and message into the 2006 election year with your help.
