VOID Calls in on C-Span's Wa. Journal
The President of VOID, that's me, called and got in this morning on C-span's Washington Journal Call-in program and plugged VOID for its TV listeners. Sending emails, calling call-in programs, talking with family and friends, letters to the editor of your local newspaper, water cooler talk at work, are all ways each of us can promote awareness of the Vote Out Incumbents for Democracy organization and mission. And we must commit to doing these things.
Millions of voters who don't vote, feel alone and that their vote means nothing and won't make a difference. That is the obstacle all of us must hurdle. Our job is to make the Vote Out Incumbents message prominent in the American landscape. Our job is to help eligible voters to know and feel that millions of others share their discontent with politics and government as now exists and together, and at the polls, their voice can and will make a huge
difference.
We at VOID are doing our part, and we beg you to do yours. Become a dues paying member of VOID, communicate the VOID message in ways you have never tried before. Make yourself, and friends and collegues at VOID proud of our successes by doing your part to create those successes. Without VOID supporters like you going that extra yard to find new ways to promote the Vote Out Incumbents mission, it won't happen, folks. We will just get more of the same incompetence, unethical, and irresponsible government which we have known in the past. And frankly my friends, neither we nor our children can afford that anymore.
I have already received two emails of suport from viewers of C-Span's show, which I will post today on the site if the senders agree to it. It works, folks, get the word out, millions want to hear about our mission and support it. We only need to get the word out.

Comments
Heard about your organization on C-Span, and I agree with what you are about, entirely. But,your comments about getting the majority of eligible voters who don't vote to the polls is an impossible dream, in my opinion. But, perhaps, getting just a lot of them to the polls, could make some difference for the better. Keep up the great work. I will help spread the word about your organizaiton.

Good work David.
The more we discuss this, the more people will think about it.
And, people need to think about this, because the way things are going, the fiscal irresponsibility of government and the next economic down-turn will likely give them plenty to think about.
