VOID: World Attention
What do folks in Bejing, China - Dublin, Ireland - the Phillipines - New S. Wales, Australia - Serbia and Montenegro - India - Virgin Islands - Hawaii - and all across the continental U.S. have in common? They all visited our Vote Out Incumbents Democracy site in the last 72 hours.
It is the oldest of concepts within the idea of democracy, that voters have the power to vote out government leaders who fail to solve the people's national problems. Yet, the attention and the spread of the VOID message would indicate that this old concept is being received as if it were brand new and powerfully innovative.
But, understanding the power of the vote to control and direct the actions of political leaders is only the first step. Democracy works when there is a majority concensus at election time. Understanding does not change politician's actions. Action, coalition building, communication and spreading the word, and creating that sufficient anti-incumbent vote on election day is what changes politician's and government leader's actions.
You and I have to give of ourselves and our time, sacrifice a non-essential purchase to donate to the cause, and communicate and spread the word wherever and whenever possible, in order to make our understanding manifest itself in sea change on election day. Don't you want prosperity, security, and liberty to be the goals of Congress for ourselves and our children and grandchildren? Is our current Congress delivering on these goals?
Then what is stopping
you from making that donation, from volunteering that hour or two per week, from spreading the word at every opportunity? This VOID organization is your opportunity to expect more, demand better, and to insure Congress delivers on our common goals of prosperity, security, and liberty.
Take action. Do it today. Or, America's tomorrows will be filled with poverty, strife, and servitude to the state. That is where this Congress is leading us with its uncontrolled spending, tax cuts - 51% of which were directed at the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans, a national debt soon to reach 11 trillion dollars, and and utter defiance of voters to do anything to change it.
Resistance isn't futile. Hope without action is futile. Act today. Make that donation. Become a VOID member. Order and display your Vote Out Incumbents window/bumper sticker. Convince a friend or relative this week to vote for a challenger instead of an incumbent. Form a group in your neighborhood. Hold meetings, plan action, and carry it out. We are here to help if you want it.
But, it's up to you to get the ball rolling. The time is now to take Congress back for the voters and people. The time is now for us to lead Congress, instead of their leading us to a future of bankruptcy, corruption, and self-serving endeavors on our wages sent to Wash. D.C.

If voters of America want a real voice in government, they must do the one simple, easy, common-sense, no-brainer, responsible thing they were supposed to do all along. Vote Out irresponsible incumbent politicians always.
Or, keep re-electing irresponsible incumbent politicians who answer only to their big-money puppeteers.
Keep empowering them to bribe you with your own money.
Keep empowering them to use and abuse you.
Keep proving what some believe; the voters are sheep.

Voting incumbent out in mass has happened in the past. Most recently was the 94 Congressional elections. The problem with that election is that Democrats were voted out and Republicans voted in.
O the new guys made a half hearted attempt to keep their "Contract with America". But they soon sucumed to the special intrest that paid for their campaigns. And we did nothing about it.
What's needed is for the voters to kick out any incumbent that sides with special interest and keep voting them out until they get the message.
They work for the voters. Not special intrest.
