I'd like to take a moment to express my respect, admiration, and high regard for David Remer, VOID's Founder and President.
David Remer is undoubtably VOID's hardest working member and greatest benefactor when it comes to how much time, effort, and intellectual and emotional energy - not to mention personal resources - he has devoted to our cause.
The work that goes into creating and running a non-profit voter education association is enormous. David takes a leading role in this work, and is frequently the one who finds the how to our what. Many people generate ideas for VOID and we all work hard to make it happen. David works the hardest of all, and often is the one who helps us all figure out how to make our new ideas a reality.
Not that David doesn't generate his own ideas. That is certainly not an accurate representation of the circumstances. Far from it. VOID is David's idea, and he comes up with many ideas to make it work, work better, and bring it ever-closer to the success we all hope for. His dedication and his participation is of an unmeasureable value to this organization!
I'm certain that there will come a time when history thanks David for his tremendous efforts on behalf of this nation and her people. In the meantime, I would like to extend my appreciation.
David, you have taught me so much. You've taught me about politics. You've taught me about researching. And, you've taught me a lot about leadership.
Thank you very much, David. You are an inspiration!

Stephanie,
I could not have said it better. The amount of work and time David R. Remer has put is into VOID (a non-profit) is staggering.
His motive is truly because he believes that it is the right thing to do. He really cares about trying to make things better.
How many people do you know with that type of conviction and integrity?
Not many. It is rare.
I too have learned much from David. Not just about politics, but about human nature, and different and better ways to approach things, and people.
I'm very happy and honored to know someone, such as David Remer.
David, Thank you !
Sincerely,
Daniel S. Summars

Wow! Thanks, Stephanie and Daniel. There have been a handful of times when I felt like the mission of VOID was too big, the work to voluminous, and time too short for VOID to ever get off the ground. Those feelings were always dashed shortly after interacting with you both as Board members, and with other volunteers at VOID whose dedication and determination are my inspiration to continue.
The concept of Vote Out Incumbents Democracy was set out in our democracy. Our task is, as Daniel eloquently reminds us, to remind American voters to do what they should have been doing all along. Vote out inefficiency, corruption, and idle promises, and vote in responsible stewardship of our nation and her future.
I am honored and deeply moved by your tribute. Thank you. We will continue to move forward acting as a voice of reason for Americans who have had enough of abuse and mediocrity that have become hallmarks of Congress' output.
