I sure hope this is the case. I firmly believe that on average, given similar education and experience, women make better politicians than men. They are more motivated by the success of their children and family in their futures than the predominantly male attributes of personal aggrandizement and greed.
Generally speaking of course. Anecdotally, one can find many exceptions to the rule on both sides of the gender fence.

Margie, I agree with you that women tend to be more forward looking, and certainly more attuned to policy issues that will affect their children.
