VOID is growing, and my confidence in its future is growing as well.
First, I want to thank Zeb Pike for joining our volunteers. Zeb will be gathering anti-incumbent news related items to write up for our column on the right. Many thanks, Zeb. Thanks also to our other volunteers who have recently joined us and are helping grow VOID's usefulness and support base.
Being a new organization formed just this year, and dependent upon memberships and individual contributions for funding, VOID's impact on this November's elections is nowhere near what it will be in 2008 and beyond, as we reach millions of voters with our goal and mission.
The VOID directors have done a great job meeting the legal requirements of the IRS and Federal Elections Commission, drafting mission statements, coordinating projects, contacting political organization leaders offering challenger candidates. We have done a remarkable job of starting up this vitally important organization from scratch without any benefactors, corporate sponsors, or affiliation with any wealthy political parties or campaigns. But, the directors and volunteers have so very much more to do, to take the VOID goal and mission to Americans across the entire nation.
We will take a breather immediately after November's elections before conducting our own Board of Directors elections in December, and getting back to our plans to VOID incumbents in Congress in 2008. Our funding and volunteer staff have been adequate for getting this organization up and running, thanks to the generosity of its founding members and supporters.
Our mission and goal however, will require significant increases in both to reach American voters in 2008. So, we hope those of you reading this, who have not yet become a member or, made a contribution of dollars or time, will do so now. We have a very ambitious agenda for cleaning up Congress and restoring responsible governance. And we have many avenues by which to pursue that agenda, but your support is vital to success.
It only takes a minute or two, to make your donation or membership contribution or, to contact us to volunteer an hour a week. Become part of the solution toward insuring a better America for ourselves and our children's future. You will feel good that you did and we at VOID will welcome you with the greatest respect and thanks for joining this most noble and honorable mission.
In 2007 we will be:
- developing a voter's education program
- publishing a book about VOID's mission and purpose
- growing local VOID organizations in congressional districts
- work with independent and political party leaders toward coalitions to unseat incumbents
- expand our publicity campaigns
- seriously beef up our fund-raising, and much more.
It has been my greatest honor and privilege to serve as VOID's president this year and to work with the many finest of people who have given generously of their time and dollars to help us make our government what it was always intended to be - efficient, responsible, and accountable to the people.

Zebster,
Welcome aboard. I'm seriously late in extending that welcome, and I apologize for that. However, I'm ready to get back on the horse, and continue my participation more openly now. So, welcome -- belatedly, but sincerely!

Is your group flooding news sources about the difference it will make if we void out incumbents now? Especially outlets that might be receptive like Katie Curic Free Speech segment or Lou Dobbs or Bill O'Riley. Any writers in written media that might pick up on it. Public exposure like this might make a difference in some elections.
